Nestled in Barrhead County, northern Alberta, Straight Arrow Farms is a small, family-run farm where miniature goats roam, graze, and bring us endless joy every single day. That joy doesn't stay on the farm — we pour it into every bar of soap, every candle, and every dryer ball we make by hand.
The Goats Behind Everything
Our miniature goats are the heart of this farm. They're curious, spirited, and surprisingly opinionated — and their rich, nourishing milk is the foundation of our goat milk soap line. We raise our goats ourselves, which means we know exactly what goes into their care, their feed, and ultimately, into our products. There are no shortcuts here.
Goat milk is naturally rich in vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids that are gentle on skin. When you use a Straight Arrow Farms soap, you're getting the real thing — fresh goat milk from our own herd, not a powder or a substitute.
Handcrafted, Ingredient by Ingredient
Every product we make starts with a question: what's the best possible ingredient for this? That commitment shows up in the details:
- Grass-fed tallow — deeply nourishing and skin-compatible, sourced with care
- Zechstein magnesium — one of the purest forms of magnesium available, sourced from an ancient seabed
- New Zealand Manuka honey — prized for its unique antibacterial and skin-soothing properties
- Coconut soy wax — clean-burning and natural, the base for our hand-poured candles
Our soaps, lotions, tallow creams, candles, and dryer balls are all made right here on the farm — in small batches, with intention. No mass production. No mystery ingredients. Just honest, handcrafted goods made the way they should be.
Meet Amber & Doug
Hi, we are a husband and wife team — farmers, makers, and the people who hand-label every order that leaves this farm. Straight Arrow Farms started because we wanted to create products we could feel good about using on ourselves. Products with real ingredients, made by real hands, from a place we could stand behind.
What began as a small batch of goat milk soap has grown into a full product line — but the values haven't changed. We still make everything ourselves, still source ingredients we believe in, and still get unreasonably excited when the goats do something ridiculous in the yard.
