Lately, we've had a few questions about how our city delivery option works and why trips aren't always scheduled immediately. The Reality of a 200 km Round Trip

When we pack up the truck for a city run, it's a 200-kilometre round trip. For a small family farm, a journey of this distance requires significant fuel, vehicle wear-and-tear, and hours away from our daily chores on the land.

If we made this trip for just one or two individual orders as they rolled in, the delivery costs would quickly wipe out the entire profit of those products. To keep our farm viable — and to keep our prices fair for you — we can't do custom, on-demand trips.

To make city deliveries work, we operate on a consolidation model. This means we only head your way when we have a pre-planned trip or enough combined orders to justify the trek. If you place an order and notice our next scheduled delivery window is a few weeks out, here's why:

Choosing shipping allows you to bypass our delivery schedule entirely. Your order gets packed up quickly right here on the farm and handed off to a courier, getting your products to you on a much faster timeline.
