Wholesale Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: May 2026
1. ELIGIBILITY & APPLICATION
Wholesale accounts are available to registered businesses only, including retail stores, spas, boutiques, gift shops, and similar establishments. By submitting a wholesale application, you confirm that you are purchasing products for resale or professional use, not personal consumption. Straight Arrow Farms reserves the right to approve or decline any wholesale application at its sole discretion.
2. CATALOGUE ACCESS & INTENT TO PURCHASE
By requesting Straight Arrow Farms' wholesale catalogue and pricing information, you acknowledge that this request represents a genuine intent to purchase. Wholesale catalogue access is reserved for established or actively establishing retail businesses. Straight Arrow Farms reserves the right to decline future wholesale applications from businesses that repeatedly request catalogue information without placing orders.
3. CONFIDENTIALITY OF PRICING
By receiving Straight Arrow Farms' wholesale price list or any related pricing information, the applicant agrees to keep all pricing, discount structures, minimum order requirements, and terms strictly confidential. This information is provided solely for the purpose of evaluating or maintaining a wholesale relationship and may not be shared with third parties, reproduced, or used for any other purpose without prior written consent from Straight Arrow Farms.
4. MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENTS
- Opening order minimum: $250 CAD
- Reorder minimum: $200 CAD
- Minimums apply to the subtotal before shipping and taxes
First purchase deadline: The Buyer must place its first wholesale order within three calendar months of account approval. If no order is placed by then, Straight Arrow Farms will close the wholesale account and end wholesale pricing eligibility. Reopening the account may require a new application and approval.
Annual wholesale purchase minimum: Starting on the date of the Buyer’s first wholesale order, the Buyer must purchase at least $1,000 CAD in wholesale products during each following 12-month period. The total is measured using the merchandise subtotal of fulfilled orders, before tax and shipping. If the minimum is not met, Straight Arrow Farms may close the account and end wholesale pricing eligibility. The Buyer is not required to purchase any shortfall.
5. PRICING & CURRENCY
- All wholesale prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated
- Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice
- Wholesale pricing is exclusive to approved wholesale accounts and may not be combined with retail promotions or discount codes
6. PAYMENT TERMS
- Payment terms: Net 15 from date of invoice
- Invoices are issued upon order fulfillment
- Accepted payment methods: credit card, e-transfer, or direct deposit or as otherwise agreed in writing.
- Overdue accounts may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month and suspension of wholesale privileges
7. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
- Orders ship from Alberta, Canada via Canada Post or other carriers at Straight Arrow Farms' discretion
- Shipping costs are the responsibility of the wholesale buyer unless otherwise agreed
- Straight Arrow Farms is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier
- International orders (including USA): The buyer is responsible for all applicable duties, customs fees, and import taxes
- Free Pickup on our farm is also an option.
- For local businesses within 75 km of our location, we will make every attempt to deliver orders in person for a $5 fee.
8. LEAD TIMES & ORDER PROCESSING
- Orders are typically processed within 6 weeks or less
- Handmade products may require additional lead time; you will be notified if your order will be delayed beyond the standard window
- Rush orders may be accommodated at an additional fee, subject to availability
9. RETURNS & EXCHANGES
- Straight Arrow Farms does not accept returns on wholesale orders except in the case of defective products
- Claims for defective goods must be submitted within 5 business days of receipt, with photographic evidence
- Approved claims will be resolved via replacement or store credit at Straight Arrow Farms' discretion
10. RESALE RESTRICTIONS
Wholesale products may be resold through your approved retail location(s) or website. The following are not permitted without prior written approval:
- Resale on third-party marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Etsy, etc.)
- Resale to other wholesalers or distributors
- Significant alteration or repackaging of products
11. BRAND & MARKETING GUIDELINES
- Wholesale partners are encouraged to use Straight Arrow Farms' provided product photography and descriptions, don’t hesitate to ask for our logos etc.
- Products must be represented accurately and in alignment with the brand's artisanal positioning
- Please tag us on social media: @straightarrowfarms on instagram & @straightarrowsoap on facebook— we love to reshare our stockists!
12. ACCOUNT TERMINATION
Straight Arrow Farms reserves the right to terminate a wholesale account at any time for breach of these terms, non-payment, or conduct inconsistent with the brand's values. Upon termination, any outstanding balances become immediately due.
13. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.
14. WHOLESALE TRIAL BOXES
Straight Arrow Farms no longer provides free samples. Prospective wholesale stockists may purchase a trial box, subject to approval, to evaluate products before placing an opening order.
Products included in a trial box are charged at their regular retail prices, plus applicable taxes and shipping. Payment must be completed through secure checkout before the box is shipped.
If the purchaser places and pays for a first wholesale order with a merchandise subtotal of at least $250 CAD, excluding taxes and shipping, within 90 days of receiving the trial box, Straight Arrow Farms will refund the amount paid for the trial-box products and their applicable taxes to the original payment method.
Trial-box shipping charges are non-refundable. Trial-box purchases do not count toward the $250 CAD opening wholesale order minimum.
If no qualifying wholesale order is placed and paid within that period, the trial-box purchase remains at retail price and no refund is issued under this offer. Submitting an application or purchasing a trial box does not guarantee wholesale account approval.
